2 Westbury Park
Open all year; 80 acres of ancient forest dating back over thousands of years. The grounds have changed very little since the eleventh century when the first owner bought the land. Many different varieties of trees and plants in wild surroundings. No restaurant, put picnic area in the grounds.

3 Shelton House
A thirteenth century country manor once part of a medieval village. People have lived in this house for over 700 years. Inside are many valuable pictures and objects; outside, beautiful gardens with rare plants and flowers. Coffee shop open in afternoons only.

4 Emsley Gardens
Hundreds of colourful birds in lovely natural surroundings. Large areas of woodland, rose gardens and lakes. During the summer months, there is a Pet's Corner, organized walks for just for children, and outdoor art displays.

5 Rivel Zoo
One of the most famous zooz in the West Country with some of the best designed cages and viewing platforms in the world. Regular feeding times for most animals throughout the day and children encouraged to take part under direction of zoo keepers. Café open all day as well as picnic areas.
